Bulamu Safaris Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Reservation/booking acceptance;

Up on your acceptance of confirming a booking with Bulamu safaris, this means that there is a mutual understating and agreement that has been reached up on between the 2 parties and persons under his/her authority (Lead Name), which implies that all are bound by these terms and conditions of Bulamu Safaris Ltd.

2. Deposits;

Up on reaching the final agreement about your safari arrangements, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the ground arrangements is required to be paid. This is to ensure that reservations are made.

Note: The full amount (100%) for the gorilla permits (US$ 700 per permit), chimpanzee permits (US$ 200), and if you have a domestic flight within your safari, all these should be paid in full amounts.

The payment of balance (70%) will need to be paid no later than 31 days (4 weeks) prior to the starting date of the safari.

3. Full payment;

The full amount (100%) is required to be paid by the persons up on making a booking for a safari in 8 weeks (60 days) period to the starting date of your safari. If the full amount is not paid in due time of the invoice, Bulamu Safaris reserves the right to cancel your booking.

Payments can be made through bank transfer to Bulamu Safari bank account. Bank costs and transfers, are to be paid by the client(s) and you should always let us know after making a transfer. So feel free and safe when making your payment by bank transfers. In cases of wrong bank transfer due to a client's negligence and carelessness, Bulamu Safaris won’t be responsible.

If payment is not received in accordance with the above, Bulamu Safaris has the right to cancel the booking.

4. Cancellations;

Once you book a Safari with us and you pay a deposit, this is a sign of your willingness to utilize travel arrangements and accommodation which we reserve on your behalf. Should you or any of your group members cancel his/her holiday; you must put in writing. The cancellation policy becomes effective on the date which we receive the notice, the percentage will be calculated and deducted.

4.1 Cancellation percentages:

60 days before the safari starting date, the company takes 30% as cancellation fee for the ground arrangements plus the full cost of gorilla permits, chimpanzee permits since we buy them in advance immediately after your payments are made to secure your safari.

38 to 21 days before the safari starting date, the company takes 50% as cancellation fee from total cost of the booking and a full cost of gorilla permits and chimpanzee permits since we buy them in advance immediately after your payments are made to secure your safari.

21 to 7 days before the departure date, the company takes 75% as cancellation fee of the total cost of the booking plus the costs of gorilla permits, chimpanzee permits since we buy them in advance immediately after your payments are made to secure your safari.

7 days before the safari starting date, the cancellation fee is 100%. No refund!

5. Travel insurance;

It is the client's responsibility to arrange his/her personal insurance through your home insurance company or your agents. It is strongly recommended that clients should also take-out insurance to cover their emergency travel, lost baggage, stolen items like phones, laptops, iPads and any other covers.

6. Responsibility/liability;

Bulamu Safaris will not be held liable whatsoever in cases of damage and loss of Client's property or money during the safari arising from client's negligence and carelessness, these cases are advised to be compensated by your travel insurance company.

It's every client's responsibility to be carefully read the itinerary, so that there is no demand for any other activity which is not included in the program.

If the client misses out to do any activity in the package due to unforeseen conditions, accident, illness or any other cause but not that of the company, no refund will be given since all these activities are already paid in advance.

It is the responsibility of the client(s), travel agency/wholesaler to ensure that all members of the tour have the appropriate passports, visas, travel permits, health certificates and other documentation required for the safari.

It is the responsibility of the clients to take proper medical and practical precautions in regarding to health and safety. Medical advice should be sought well before travelling.

7. Safari cost increase;

Price increase may occur due to any increase in, fuel costs, activities rates, and fluctuation of exchange rates. The company reserves the right to add an increment in the Safari costs. If any clients don’t accept to pay that increment, Bulamu Safaris reserves the right to cancel the tour and will refund your money according to the number of days left to your safari departure.

8. SPECIAL REQUESTS

Clients with special requests, you have to specify such requests to the company in the booking reservation form. The company will try to accommodate all your requests, though it may not be a guarantee.

9. Accommodation selections;

Bulamu safaris here we always try our level best to select carefully the best lodges and hotels depending on your choices so that you enjoy your safari holiday conveniently and comfortably and in case accommodations are not available, we reserve the right to provide an alternative but after communicating with the client(s).

All packages are subject to availability and not guaranteed until everything is confirmed.
